What’s the difference between a Sofa and Couch?
The definition of each is the following:
A couch is a long upholstered piece of furniture for several people to sit on. The term couch comes from the French word coucher which means to lie down.
A sofa is a long upholstered seat with a back and arms, for two or more people. According to the Oxford English Dictionary, the word ‘sofa’ originates in the eastern Mediterranean with the Arabic soffah. That term was defined as “a part of the floor raised a foot or two, covered with rich carpets and cushions, and used for sitting upon”.

What is a modular pit sectional?
A modular pit sectional is a sofa that is designed to be moved around and rearranged. Usually, the seating sections consist of corner and armless centerpieces. The back and arms are the same height and the seat is the same height as the ottoman.

If you want the chaise on the right side that would be called a Right Arm Facing (RAF) sectional or sectional facing right. When it comes to price Amazon is super competitive and the shipping is usually fast. Styles are in stock with a limit on the colors available.
Lulu and Georgia have many cool couch styles to choose from. They’re in line with the California Cool vibe that’s super popular.
