As a result of the pandemic, many people had to get creative and set up at-home gyms. Some turned the garage, basement, or spare bedroom into a home gym.
The first step in design planning was probably searching Pinterest for home gym ideas. You probably also looked for the best rubber flooring and at-home gym equipment ideas.
Once the gym flooring is picked out you can move on to the fitness equipment. This can be quite the process depending on the type of workouts you plan on doing.
When we went through this process we researched the best exercise equipment for our family. We all use the gym for different types of fitness. I use yoga equipment, my daughter light weights while my husband likes machines.

Before we begin, you should know the following. True transformation will come when you work out for how it makes you feel on the inside NOT how it makes you look on the outside.

I only learned this in my 40s when I realized that consistently working out Every. Single. Day. is what gets you the results. Also, it is 80 percent what you eat and 20 percent the exercise.
That said you can work out for hours a day but if you eat crap, don’t drink water, or get enough sleep your metabolism won’t kick in. This has been my experience anyway.
So go within, listen to your body, and you will finally stick to that exercise routine. It works I promise.
These home gym equipment ideas are geared towards men and women so there are helpful resources for everyone.
With so many women powerlifting and doing weight training, they use a lot of the same equipment as men.
My daughter is on an Acro and Tumbling team and they lift weights as part of their workout too. They have to so they build strength to lift other athletes
Now let’s get into the home gym equipment ideas.
