Yoga At Home
There are many ways to stay healthy and well during this time but one of the best for your mind, body, and soul is Yoga. When it comes to exercise it can be hard to start.
They say it takes 21 days to create a new habit in your life. So over the next twenty-one days, you MUST do something every day towards your new goal.
A great resource to get started is Badass Habits: Cultivate the Awareness, Boundaries, and Daily Upgrades You Need to Make Them Stick by Jen Sincero.
If you do the daily exercises in this book you WILL see the results you are after whatever habit you choose to add or change.
This post is all about Yoga At Home Essentials.
Boho Beautiful Yoga At Home
So if you are serious about starting to flow with an at-home yoga practice one of the best resources is Boho Beautiful. You can follow the youtube videos or join the membership. Do what works best for you but make to decision to start and stick to it.
When you exercise daily for yourself and the health benefits that is when you will finally stick to a routine. If you are just doing it for your next vacation, to get that date, to impress someone else or because the summer is coming YOU WILL NOT stick with it.
You have to get yourself to a place where you love yourself enough to set aside 15-20 minutes (to start) each day to workout just because it feels good.
Trust me that is the game changer.
Also, keep in mind that it’s 80 percent diet and 20 percent exercise so if you don’t change both it will not be as effective.
Here is a 14-day yoga routine you can start on youtube right now from your home.
There is also a 14-day Meditation practice that will help you stay the course. If you have never meditated be patient with yourself and give it time. It will feel weird and woo woo at first but it will change your life if you stick with it every day. You will get in tune with your thoughts and creativity. Another benefit is learning to stay in the present moment and just be.
Try it and let me know how it went after the 15 days are complete. There is an extra bonus meditation day.
If you love the program you can make the commitment to yourself and sign up for the app and monthly subscription. This is not even an affiliate post BTW that is how much I LOVE Boho Beautiful and all they stand for. They truly have changed my life and I am forever grateful for what Juliana and Mark have created.
