Is Circa Lighting NYC the same as Visual Comfort?

Circa Lighting is not the same as Visual Comfort. It’s the premier seller of Visual Comfort and other popular lighting brands.
In 1998, Gale Singer founded Circa Lighting in Savannah, Georgia. Visual Comfort & Co. was founded by her brother Andy Singer and is the leading manufacturer of decorative lighting.
What happened to Circa Lighting?
After many years running separate businesses Circa Lighting and Visual Comfort will merge and become one. Circa lighting will be renamed “Visual Comfort.”
As of January 2023, the websites will also be combined and be your go-to shop for all things lighting. The new site will be located at visualcomfort.com where both trade accounts and direct e-commerce will live.
The beauty of this merger is the two powerhouses can now combine their marketing efforts. They’ll be able to focus their energy and make an impact on the lighting industry.

If you’re in the NYC area be sure to visit the showroom located at 200 Lexington Avenue #101, New York, NY 10016. The hours are Monday – Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, or can call 212.725.2500 to schedule an appointment.
Visiting the showroom is great because you’ll be inspired by all the lighting options on display. You can also see the finishes in person which is always a good thing.

1. Calais Chandelier
Circa Lighting is one of my favorite go-to lighting resources. They have an abundance of “to-the-trade” vendors that are available to you as well!
This gorgeous gilded iron chandelier has a vintage-inspired design that’ll totally elevate the look of your living room. At 34″ wide it’s the perfect size to make a statement and draw the eye up.
If gold is not your jam this chandelier also comes in burnished silver leaf.
