The New Owen Six Piece Pit Sectional is such a thing of beauty in my opinion. This deep oversized sectional couch is upholstered in a textured boucle performance fabric that will be super durable in your home. No need to worry about accidents with this fabric.

If you are wondering what makes this the best deep sectional sofa let me tell you all about her. Each piece of this modular sectional can be moved and reconfigured to fit the needs of your space. Whether your home is large or small there is an arrangement perfect for you.

How To Design With A Deep Sectional Sofa

When designing with a pit sectional sofa there are a few things to keep in mind.

Rug Tips:

You are going to want the rug to be larger than the sofa. In this case, the sectional sofa measures 126″ W X 84″ D X 36″ H so the rug size should be at least 9′ x 12′. This will be fully under the sofa and leave a nice-sized border all around.

Table Tips:

The tables you use with the modular sofa should either be thin and narrow around the perimeter or small at the front side of the sofa. You can use a C-shape, drink, or a round small table.

Lighting Tips:

It is best to use overhead lighting above the sectional so it is out of the way. You can also use an arch lamp (shown above) behind the sofa angled over the back or side. If you place a console table behind the sofa you can place table lamps on either side as well.

Pillow Tips:

Use pillows in different sizes, patterns, colors, and textures for added interest. Remember the size of this sofa when figuring out your pillows.

When I was a design consultant at the furniture store the pit sectional sofa came with pillows. Each corner came with one and each armless seat came with two pillows. This meant for the six-piece sectional above you would get eight pillows!
