How would you describe Arhaus style?
I first discovered Arhaus when I was working as a design consultant at a competitor. At the time, I thought the name was Our House, but it’s actually pronounced Ar-haus.
The brand is known for sustainability. They use reclaimed wood, hand-forged metals, and partner with artisans around the world. When you buy a piece from Arhaus, you’re not just buying furniture… you’re investing in a story.
Even though many people I know (including my mom!) had never heard of Arhaus, I’ve been obsessed ever since. Let’s take a walk through their showroom together so you can see exactly how to take these Arhaus decorating ideas and use them in your own home.
Entryway Ideas
The first thing I noticed walking into Arhaus was a stunning espresso stone table with a wood base. It was styled with pendant lights above, a round area rug underneath, and ottomans tucked in for extra seating.

The details that stood out were contrasting white textured vases that popped against the darker stone, and the white was repeated in candles on gold holders. It was a perfect reminder that small details can make a big impact.
You don’t need a grand entryway to recreate this look. Even a small corner can become a styled moment.

Another favorite was a sculptural console table paired with a round mirror and layered decor. Here’s a pro tip: snap photos as you walk the showroom. That way, when you’re at HomeGoods or Target, you’ll know exactly what to look for. I once found a scalloped marble bowl at HomeGoods for $50 that looked just like the $200 version at Arhaus.
They also had more traditional setups, like console tables styled with lamps and artwork.
And one of my favorite tricks? A tall pedestal with a sculptural arrangement in front of an arch mirror. It instantly creates a focal point and makes a small space feel larger.
Living Room Ideas
Earthy colors were everywhere in the showroom this season just like we saw in the Crate & Barrel decorating post last week. Mushroom leather sofas, organic tree-trunk coffee tables, and cozy textures dominated the floor.

Most of the upholstered seating was shown in neutral ivory performance fabrics like Crypton. These are practical choices that resist stains and wear beautifully over time.
There was even a navy sofa in a more traditional setting, but the star was a pair of channel-back curved velvet sofas in cinnamon.

While stunning, bold colors like cinnamon are best added through decor, not big investment pieces. A neutral sofa will always give you more flexibility.
You can change your entire palette by swapping out pillows, art, or an area rug, without replacing your sofa every few years.

Arhaus also inspires with living room layouts. Curved sofas are gorgeous but need plenty of space. More timeless setups include a sofa with two accent chairs or modular sectionals for casual spaces. And don’t overlook ottomans, they connect open layouts and double as seating.
Accent Furniture
Accent furniture is where Arhaus shines. They showed groupings of small side tables in different heights and materials. This layered look is a fresh alternative to one oversized table and gives flexibility to move pieces around.
Some displays even combined ottomans with tables for extra seating. I loved the look, but like everything in design, it can be overdone. There were four small tables grouped together in the center of the cinnamon sofa, but one coffee table would have worked better.

Ottomans also appeared throughout the showroom, styled as seating, texture, or color pops. Accent chairs gave plenty of options to play with trends—whether mixed-material frames or bold hues.

And the bar furniture? Amazing. From elegant cabinets to bar-height tables with stools, these pieces felt both functional and stylish. We have a bar cabinet in our sitting room, and it’s been a total game changer.
Storage Pieces
Arched details are trending in both architecture and furniture. Arhaus displayed beautiful arched cabinets that let you bring the look home without a remodel. Use open shelves to style decor and keep clutter hidden in lower cabinets.

For something bold, I spotted X-shaped bookcases that made a sculptural statement. Another clever idea was placing a cabinet behind a sofa. It’s both functional and stylish, giving you a surface for lamps and decor plus hidden storage inside.
Bedroom Ideas
Arhaus bedrooms are fabulous! Think upholstered beds, canopy frames, and mixed-material designs that feel custom.

You can find look-for-less versions at Walmart or Target, but remember: most won’t use performance fabrics. That means oils or hair products can stain the headboard over time.

For lighting, mix table lamps with an oversized chandelier. This layering adds instant luxury. And here’s a designer trick: skip the full matching bedroom set. Instead, pair different nightstands with a dresser for a curated feel.
Styling ideas included cozy chairs at the foot of the bed, ottomans, and classic benches layered with pillows and throws. For bedding, upgrade a bed-in-a-bag with layered textures. A long lumbar pillow or two patterned shams can completely change the vibe without going pillow crazy.
Dining Room Ideas
Dining at Arhaus is all about mixed materials and statement lighting. Their tables often combine wood with stone or metal. Above, linear chandeliers added drama and elegance.
For storage, those trending arched cabinets work just as well in a dining space. Open shelving adds style, but keep in mind it means more dusting.
Table styling was simple and elevated. Trays with vases and candles made each setup look intentional.

One of my favorite dining moments had a round rug, a pedestal table, a brass chandelier, and an oversized mirror. The mirror reflected light and instantly made the space feel larger, a great small-space trick.
Home Office Ideas
If you’re designing a home office, Arhaus had plenty of inspiration. I loved an executive desk with storage on both sides, styled to float in the center of the room. With layered lighting and a cabinet behind, it looked like a true designer workspace.

For smaller spaces, a marble and reeded desk with one slim drawer offered sleek functionality. And the standout piece? A writing desk with a kidney-shaped marble top and brass legs. It looked more like a sculpture than a desk, perfect for a stylish work zone that doesn’t scream “office.”
Wall Decor & Lighting
Wall decor ideas were everywhere. Oversized art with picture lights, dramatic pairings of mirrors and sconces, and even carved wood panels added character. These are investment pieces, but if you know what to look for, you can often spot a “look for less” at HomeGoods or World Market.

Lighting at Arhaus is unique and dramatic. Oversized chandeliers, sculptural sconces, and picture lights topped the list. My favorite detail was using floor lamps on either side of a sofa. It’s an updated look to matching table lamps.
Decor Styling
Before leaving, I always take note of the decor styling. Vases with greenery, trays with candles, and oversized planters are the finishing touches that elevate every space.

One of my favorite discoveries was decorative games, like a wooden tic-tac-toe set styled on a coffee table. They’re fun conversation starters that double as decor. If you have space, you could even create a “game zone” with chairs, a rug, and a sculptural chess set.
Conclusion
So that’s a full walkthrough of Arhaus decorating ideas you can recreate in your own home. Even if you don’t plan to shop there, Arhaus is an amazing place to find inspiration and learn how designers style a space.
Take photos when you visit and then hunt for budget-friendly versions at your favorite stores. You’ll start noticing shapes, textures, and layouts you might have overlooked before.
