Guest Bathroom
The guest bathroom was designed on a tight budget. We chose a neutral color palette of black and white with mixed metals for interest.

The Pottery Barn medicine cabinet was the only splurge of the timeless design. Inexpensive subway and penny floor tile were used to keep the costs down. See below for more details on this budget-friendly bathroom design.
Paint Colors:
Walls: Benjamin Moore Simply White OC-117 (eggshell finish)
Trim: Benjamin Moore Simply White OC-117 (semi-gloss finish)
The floor is the star of the show in this bathroom design! We chose a simple black and white pattern for the center and then created a border with solid penny tile.
The vanity came with silver handles but I changed them to gold. The medicine cabinet, shelf, and robe hooks were also gold.
The bathroom needed additional storage and the recess mount medicine cabinet was the perfect solution.
We kept the cost down by using chrome fixtures. The white vanity was from Wayfair and came complete with a quartz countertop and sink.
Guest Bathroom Floor Tile
The shower floor tile has the same black and white design. This added to the labor costs but it was definitely worth it. Above is a close-up of the beautiful floor design. It adds sophistication and style to the simple classic design.
The white subway tile adds to the classic look. We added a quartz niche box for shampoo and conditioner storage. You won’t get the same seal on a tile niche box, so we went with quartz.
I hope this guest bathroom design gives you ideas and inspiration for your next project.
