The Airbnb bathroom doubles as a space we use when we don’t have bookings. If the Airbnb bedroom is booked then the bathroom is locked from the main house.
This is definitely a selling feature on the Airbnb app because we’ve had constant bookings ever since we listed the space in 2019.

Airbnb Bathroom Paint Colors:
Walls: Benjamin Moore Simply White OC-117 (eggshell finish)
Trim: Benjamin Moore Simply White OC-117 (semi-gloss finish)
The Airbnb bathroom is neutral and calming. The paint was kept light, bright, and white. Benjamin Moore’s Simply white has yellow undertones that give a warm feeling.
The vanity, subway tile, and toilet are all white. We feel it’s important that guests know they are in a super clean space.
We chose a black hexagon tile in the shower and main floor area. Since the shower had a slope we used a 1×1″ hex tile. I learned the hard way to never go over 2″ in the shower floor area.
The tile in the main area is a 10″ hexagon. Using a larger size gives the illusion of space and depth.
Black and gold contrast the abundance of white which adds interest and personality. The timeless modern vibe of the bathroom will last many years to come.
